I'm a London-based image-maker and storyteller. My practice moves between staged, surreal portrait work and personal documentary photography — two registers of the same way of seeing. 
The portrait work is built, composited, sometimes uncanny, often using digital craft to push past what a single frame can hold. The documentary work is the inverse: present-tense, slower, made out of what's already there. But the eye doing both is the same one. I'm drawn to images that hold tension between what's seen and what's felt — between a face and the things a face won't say, between a place and the version of it the camera mistakes for the whole story.
I work in stills and motion. The places and people I photograph change. The attention doesn't.
